Professor Lionel Bently, Dr Rufus Pollock and many other leading academics in the field of Intellectual Property have sent an open letter to David Lammy MP, Minister of State for Higher Education and Intellectual Property.  The letter asks the Government to present any evidence that has led to the sudden, and unexplained, change of  position in relation to copyright term extension for sound recordings. The letter is available to read here.
