On 28 January 2016, Dr Henning Grosse Ruse-Khan was appointed as the Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Hanken School of Economics for 2016.

As Senior Fellow, Henning is involved in teaching international and comparative intellectual property law at Hanken, engages in research collaboration with Hanken academics (such as Professor Nari Lee who will visit Cambridge this summer), and offers advice for PhD students working on intellectual property related topics at Hanken. Over this year, Henning plans to visit Helsinki three times, with the first stay scheduled in mid-March.

Reflecting on the announcement, Dr Grosse Ruse-Khan said "It's an honour to join the ranks of previous Distinguished Senior Fellows such as Graeme Dinwoodie (Oxford), Annette Kur (MPI Munich) and Barton Beebe (NYU). I have been working with Nari Lee and Niklas Bruun for some time in the past, and had a chance to visit Hanken last summer: It's a great and dynamic place and I look forward to a close cooperation this year."
