The Institute for Information Law (IViR) is an academic research institute which is part of the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam. The institute is one of the largest research centres for information law in the world. The Institute currently employs over 25 researchers.

The IViR has a position available, for a Senior Researcher in Copyright Law (part-time or full-time).

The researcher will initiate, organize, coordinate and carry out a variety of research projects within the realm of copyright law and open content licensing in collaboration with other researchers from the Institute under the supervision of its Directors.
