The CIPIL travel bursary can fund occasional expenses for travel related to research and conferences.

This bursary is open to CIPIL members, doctoral students and LLM students doing research essays in IP or Information Law.

Reasonable expenses of up to £100 may be claimed, subject to approval at the time the claim is made. Expenses could include train fares (off-peak when possible, and using any available railcards), travel on the London Underground (or taxis when no alternative is available), car travel (reimbursed at 45p per mile) or bus travel.

If you are a student and wish to be considered for the bursary, you should submit this form, with accompanying receipts/tickets to the CIPIL administrator, Felicity Eves-Rey (cipil@law.cam.ac.uk). Forms and receipts can also be left in an envelope addressed to Felicity at the Law Faculty reception desk.  If you are a CIPIL member and wish to be considered for the bursary, you should message Felicity directly indicating the expenses you wish to claim for - if approved - reimbursements will be made via concur.  Queries can be directed to Felicity (as above).
