Prathiba M Singh is a Senior Advocate practising in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. Until December 2013, she was the Managing Partner of Singh & Singh Law Firm in New Delhi which is a leading law firm for IPR/ telecom disputes. She is a leading litigation counsel in IPR matters and has handled several landmark litigations in India. She may be amongst the first IPR lawyers to be designated as a Senior Advocate.

In 1992 Prathiba Singh took a Master of Law degree at the University of Cambridge, and she now wishes to enable talented Indian students to have the same opportunity. Eligible students for the Prathiba M Singh Cambridge Scholarship will be those who show a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law and who intend to pursue a legal career in India.
