On 1 December, Dr Jaani Riordan, barrister at 8 New Square, hosted a CIPIL seminar critically evaluating recent case law concerning internet copyright infringement and online intermediaries. Following Jaani’s talk, a fruitful and intense discussion on the role of copyright in the digital, online environment ensued.
Earlier seminars this term included 'Intellectual Property and Tobacco Control' with Professor Tania Voon, and 'Governing Medical Knowledge Commons' with Professor Michael Madison (recording).
